The mission of the Willow Grove SDA Community Services department is to show compassion and minister to those that are poor and needy within our church and our community.
We have a vibrant Community Services team that engages in outreach each month by feeding the homeless out of our sister church's site in North Philadelphia. We are thankful, by the grace of God, that we have an active and energetic team that goes out each month and feed approximately 60 to 90 individuals. We also have a food cupboard on site, under the team leadership of Bro. Joseph West, which sort, packs and distribute food to 70 to 80 families.
We strive always to do Christ's bidding, as stated in God's word, "There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land.
